Water Mitigation

Water Mitigation Xactimate Estimates for Restoration Contractors

Mitigation invoices get cut when equipment days, affected square footage or category of water aren't documented. We build the scope from your drying logs, moisture readings and photos so every day of equipment and every square foot of tear-out is supported.

What to send us

  • Moisture maps and daily psychrometric / drying logs
  • Equipment placement and pull dates
  • Site photos and room measurements or a Matterport scan
  • Category and class of water, plus the date of loss

Missing something? Send what you have. We'll tell you what else we need before we start.

What the estimate covers

  • Extraction & emergency services

Water extraction by surface type, emergency service call and after-hours charges where they apply.

  • Drying equipment by the day

Air movers, dehumidifiers and air scrubbers counted per day and matched to your logs.

  • Controlled demolition

Flood cuts, baseboard, insulation, flooring and pad removal measured to the affected area.

  • Cleaning & antimicrobial

Antimicrobial application, content manipulation and final cleaning line items.

How it works

  1. 01

    Get your portal login

Tell us about your company and the work you need. We set up your client portal the same day, with no software to install.

  2. 02

    Upload the job

Pick a service, add the property address and notes, then upload photos, drying logs and field sketches or paste a Matterport link.

  3. 03

    We write the scope

An estimator sketches the structure in Xactimate, applies the price list for the loss ZIP code and scopes every trade. A senior estimator then reviews it.

  4. 04

    Download ESX + PDF

You get an email when it's ready. Download the native .ESX file and PDF from the portal, then review and send it to the carrier under your own brand.

Water Mitigation FAQs

More answers on our FAQ page.

Do you need my drying logs?

Yes, if you have them. Equipment and monitoring are the lines most often reduced, and the logs are what justify the day counts. If you only have photos and notes, we'll scope from those and flag what's missing.

What files do I get back?

A native Xactimate .ESX file you can open, adjust and upload to the carrier, plus a PDF of the estimate with the sketch and photo references. Both are unbranded so they go out under your company name.
